Biliary Surgery: Resection and Reconstruction of the Hilar Cholangiocarcinoma Portal Vein;
Pancreatic surgery: Regional pancreatoduodenectomy.


Research Interests
Prof. Wang Jie is specializing in the treatments of Liver Cancer, Gastrointestinal Tumor, Portal Hypertension, Hepatolithiasis, Vascular Disease and other digestive disease. He is also an expert at practicing Laparoscopy, Liver Transplantation and other complex surgeries. In 2005, he managed to conduct the first Living Donor Liver Transplantation in Southeastern China. In both years of 1997 and 2003, he is the second runner-up of the Guangdong Technological Development Competition.

Academic Achievements
Prof. Wang Jie has published three medical books and more than 100 pieces of papers. In 2008, he joined the research programs of the National Eleventh Five-Year Plan, and began his focus on the treatment of Pancreatic Cancer. In the same year, he joined the Guangdong Technology and Science Program and started to work on Liver Cancer Prevention.
